DUNES COURSE
The La Quinta Resort Dunes course has held both the California State Open and PGA Tour Qualifying School. Designed by Pete Dye, it provides a relaxing round of golf with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain and desert landscapes. Well bunkered with railroad ties and lots of water.
The Pete Dye designed Dunes Course provides a relaxing round of golf surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Out of the traditional Scottish mold, this links style course favors accuracy from the tee allowing access to its well-guarded greens. The Dunes Course is ranked among Golf Digest's "Top 75 Resort Courses" in America, and was the site of the 1998 PGA TOUR Qualifying School.
MOUNTAIN COURSE
This La Quinta Resort Mountian course combines everything the desert has to offer. Many famous tournaments have been played on this legendary and exclusive " VIP players only " golfer's paradise. Noted for pot bunkers, rock formations, sand and water. Watch for the par-3 16th hole which has a green that is surrounded by desert mountain rocks.
The Mountain course has been the home to the World Cup, the PGA National Clup Pro Championships and the California State Open. One of the top courses in the valley.
